Going down the rabbit hole of exploring european medieval martial arts to apply to different character fighting styles. You can check out the free Fiore Debataglia Italian Manuscript here.
However, some of the illustrated diagrams are vague or ambiguous. Even the transcripts of ancient drawings leave a lot of interpretation. Slight stances or intended cuts can vary from sword school to sword school.

Goat Life Sketches 1-3
Goats drawn from life. I use to do wildlife illustrations, or buddy up at the zoo with friends at a sketch group. Good practice. Light edits and some art rough process shown.
